The Juice Bar in Nantucket

The wait time was long but the milkshake I ordered was delicious! My boys and niece loved their ice cream!

Worth the constant long line. Best waffle cone I have ever had. The ice cream is homemade and very yummy.

Not going to lie, when I first went here to get ice cream I wasn’t impressed. But I decided to give it a second try, this time by ordering pints of recommended flavors to take home. While the waffle cones are delicious, I think the convenience of eating ice cream back home (with A/C) is a major plus. The ice cream is so thick and whipped, perfect for devouring after a long day at the beach. You can’t go wrong with any flavor. I’d say we went back 2-3 times during our stay and ordered 3-5 different flavors each trip, never being disappointed with our selection. Will be our go-to place for ice cream when we return to the island again.

Ice cream is best I’ve had in a while and waffle cone was still warm. Staff were very friendly and happy to serve you. Definitely my go to ice cream spot on the island.

Why people wait in an insane line for ice cream is beyond me. Nothing special, overall overrated and overrun, like much of Nantucket at this point.

OVERRATED. Line is soooooooo long. The worker serving me ice cream didn’t know how to put soft serve ice cream into a cone. If that wasn’t the most simple task. Servers were too laid back and not attentive to my needs. BUT the ice cream was very good and I watched the waffle cones being made right in front of me which is why I am rating my experience 2 stars instead of one.

Great ice cream. The only reason I did not give five star is because the plastic spoon was so bendy, it was difficult to scoop the hard ice cream. If they replace with a better spoon, I would give a five star rating. I was there evening 8/19/2019.

The Nantucket Juice Bar is the best place in town to get ice cream, home made ice cream, and home made waffle cones, c'mon does it get better than that, some unique flavors are "the Carl" and "Crantucket"

Excellent ice cream and huge variety. Usually a line. We went right before they closed and the line was much shorter.

Omg its all homemade ice creams! Very flavorful and worh $5 a scoop.

They make the ice cream on site, but the portion size is a little small given the price. Not a bad thing if you are watching what you eat, but if you are looking for a monster cone, this may not be the spot. They also offer juices and smoothies along with home made waffle cones.

Worth the wait. Watch them make the cones then hand dip the ice cream.

Long lines that move quickly. Superb ice cream and freshly made waffle cones. I'd give them five stars, but, the prices, like everything else on Nantucket, are EXPENSIVE. $7.50 for a medium coffee ice cream waffle cone is a bit much. But, still worth the trip.

It's good but I don't understand all the hype. Yes, the ice cream is good, home made and some flavors are unique but Why wait in line for 20 minutes when there are other ice cream shops within a 5 minutes walk. 4 stars because ice cream is like pizza and sex... even when it's not so great it's still pretty good.

Local favorite! Expect very long lines on a hot summer afternoon, evening or night!

Always a line - but that doesn't mean it's the best product on ACK, and it definitely is overpriced. But if it makes the kiddies happy, and it does, it provides value.

I have been coming to the Juice Bar for 30 years and even through change of ownership, it remains the best place to get ice cream on the island. Can’t recommend this place enough. Only gripe is that it doesn’t open earlier 😅

Must visit! It's nice that there's a place in Nantucket everyone can agree on, and (not being a local) you can tell people feel sentimental about the Juice Bar. Well deserved! The homemade waffle cone is definitely the highlight...anyone who gets a cup at a place like this baffles me. They have a good variety of flavors and plenty of staff to handle the crowds. Cons: That being said the lines do get CRAZY. Maybe that's half the fun for some people! But if that's not your style, come through anytime before 5pm and you'll cruise through. The ice cream is pretty good, but not mind-blowing in my opinion — I prefer both JP Licks and FoMu in Boston on that front.

The young man at the juice bar who made my chocolate shake did an amazing job taking care of the fact that I have an allergy to bananas. He washed down every part of the blender the scoop and the counter to make sure that it was safe for me to eat there thank you very much I don't think you realize how much it means to me.

Best icecream on the island

5 star. This is like best ice cream place ever. They got pretty good list of ice cream. This place is one of the reason to come back to nantucket again and again. Mine favorite is cocunut and banana mix. They do have some interesting specials like green monster and cookie mixes.

Really good Ice cream and unique flavors but really overpriced. The line to get an ice cream on a summer night is ridiculous, and there are many similar places you could go to get a good ice cream in town.

High quality ice cream in many flavors. Line was long but moved efficiently. Staff was friendly. We went three or four times while on Nantucket. Definitely get the waffle cone or bowl!

YUMMMMM! The line moves quick, the ice cream is incredible and you 100% HAVE TO GET THE WAFFLE CONE (the upgraded price is worth it). We would definitely come back here and we are glad everyone recommended it!

I drool at every picture on their instagram of their ice cream. BEST flavors, toppings, people, vibe, and overall experience. I visit every summer and all I think about during the school year is about Juice Bar. If I could give them 1,000,000 stars I would.

Coming from Bulgaria to the United States sometimes you begin to feel lonely. Especially when you don’t know how to speak English (this whole paragraph is translated from Bulgarian)I was regretting my decision on leaving the homeland until I found what felt like the first place that I was loved I was quickly excepted into the wonderful community and continue to go their every night, when I go through the wonderful doors I feel loved and excepted the people that take my order me fell so loved I truly cannot say anything bad about this heaven!

You can smell the waffle cones from down the road. You can also see the line from down the road. I've waited 30+ minutes at peak times, and yet I keep coming back for more. Freshly made waffle cones and bowls and homemade ice cream that are always worth it.

It is the best thing I ever ate. Buy it
